In Vitro Fertilization Treatment was Done, I Couldn't Get Pregnant Again..

You and your wife decided to have children in order to expand your family and consolidate your happiness, and you started to experiment on this subject. After 6 months, one, two years, there was no result. You saw a doctor who you heard was an expert in his field. Examination, tests, films, follow-ups. There is no concrete finding, but still no result. When you asked "What will happen now?", your doctor suggested "vaccination" at the first stage, he said "we will try it once or twice". You said "okay", medications, injections, vaccination, waiting with hope... the result; again negative.

That's okay.., you said we can do in vitro fertilization too and knocked on the door of a well-known center..

Once again, with injections, pills, egg collection and transfer, the hopeful wait started again. You said "I hope it will happen this time".

Conclusion.:

Again negative, again disappointment, anger and tension..

There are many questions that gnaw at your brain. I wonder if a mistake was made somewhere? Is something overlooked? Should we go to another center? But they know us now, should we try again in the same center? Our effort is also wasted money. I wonder if they will demand the same money again? etc. etc..

Naturally, when pregnancy does not occur spontaneously, couples turn to in vitro fertilization and microinjection treatments in the hope that advanced technology can help in this regard. But when such a treatment does not yield results, the disappointment becomes great. Of course, each couple's luck is unique to that couple. Some people will get good results sooner or later if they have excess embryos frozen during in vitro fertilization treatment. Because it is known that for couples who are not of advanced age, the total pregnancy rate reaches 85% after the first 3 attempts. But things are difficult, especially if the woman is over 40 and the embryo can hardly be obtained despite high doses of drugs.

First of all, it should be said that couples who have a high chance of pregnancy should definitely continue their treatment. Because according to research, when the first treatment is unsuccessful, approximately 30-35% of couples do not continue in vitro fertilization treatment due to financial problems or psychological stress. Thus, many couples who can actually get results from treatment are unfortunately doomed to childlessness, unless there is a spontaneous surprise.

The first thing to do is to review all the details of the treatment with your doctor, identify any possible problems, correct them, and then prepare the conditions for trying again.

The first application in in vitro fertilization treatment gives us important information about male and female problems and future treatment. The information obtained about the types of drugs used, their doses, the ovaries' responses to them, sperm fertilization rates, embryo quality and number, ease or difficulty of transfer, and the couple's concentration on treatment will be used in subsequent treatments. Strategy changes made in the light of this data will definitely increase the chance of success of subsequent treatments.

If deemed necessary, you should also evaluate in detail with your physician the issues that will be recommended by your physician, such as genetic research, immune system evaluations, uterine film, evaluation of the uterus with a camera, biopsy of the uterine membrane, uterine tissue co-culture, selection of sperm by magnifying it 6000 times with a special microscope for microinjection, and application of additional methods and techniques such as pregnancy vaccination.

In summary, you should continue on your way without giving up.

You should know that couples who continue to try without losing hope and giving up will most likely achieve their desires and welcome their babies.
