Sexually Transmitted Diseases

sexually transmitted diseases These are diseases that can be transmitted through body contact during sexual intercourse. These diseases (STDs) are caused by viruses, bacteria or parasites.

at least 25 grains There is a sexually transmitted disease. What they all have in common is that they are transmitted through sexual intercourse, including vaginal, anal and oral intercourse. The diseases mentioned here are only the most common of all these diseases.

How do you know if you have an STD?
Anyone who is sexually active has a chance of contracting an STD. Some STDs may have symptoms such as discharge from the genitals, pain when urinating, and swelling and inflammation of the genitals. Some STDs may not always have symptoms. Therefore, if you think you are at risk of contracting these types of diseases, I recommend that you undergo a check-up to identify STDs. Sometimes STDs can take a long time to show symptoms, and you can infect others in the meantime. This makes it even more important to get checked. If you are in a stable relationship and have an STD, this does not necessarily mean that your partner is cheating on you. STD symptoms can sometimes appear months after infection.

How can you protect yourself from STDs?
You and your partner can reduce your risk of contracting an STD by going for regular checkups and using condoms during sexual intercourse. The more partners you have, the more likely you are to contract STDs. Other ways to reduce the risk of contracting diseases are to wash hands after sexual intercourse and take care of regular genital cleaning.

Why is it important to know if you have an STD?
Many STDs are highly contagious and, if left untreated, can cause permanent damage such as infertility. Many STDs can be transmitted from partner to partner, and some from mother to unborn child. STDs can also make it easier to contract HIV.
